When you walk into Raw Bobs you're greeted by a bright room, filled with fresh fruit and the sound of juicers and blenders running. Either Patti or Jill are usually always there and there's a staff of two more people on average. The wall is covered in a huge menu detailing all of their various juices and smoothies that they offer and some "friends with benefits" that you can include for extra which include, turmeric, cayenne, maca powder and more. The whole atmosphere is extremely welcoming with ambient music playing, a comfortable temperature, and a smiling staff.
My father goes almost every morning to buy his juice for lunch and has a very specific order. They know it by heart and are extremely accommodating if you want to replace something or add something to change the juice/smoothie to your liking. They also have different toasts such as avocado and make homemade chia pudding and different raw bowls.
Patti and Jill Burton are extremely committed to the art of juicing and I would highly recommend this family run shop in the heart of East Greenwich.

Some reviews have also been graciously offered from customers,
From a regular customer,
"Raw Bob's Juice is a special place. Run by mother and daughter whose customer service is based on traditional values of hospitality, a place they know your name and know what kind of juice you like. I go there every morning to get freshly squeezed juice for my lunch. Patty, the owner and her staff have figured out what I like. So they just make it for me while I bask in the sun outside the shop or just hang out talking to the staff. Their juice and smoothie assortments are amazing and healthy. They are all about healthy nutrition and it shows. I have dropped 30 pounds over 4 months and have been maintaining with the help of Raw Bobs."
From a breast cancer patient who has recently discovered Raw Bobs,
As a breast cancer patient, my main focus is to heal from the inside out. It is imperative I infuse my body with only healthy, organic and gluten free foods.
Raw Bobs fits that bill. Alas, I was given a "gift certificate of health" from my friend to Raw Bobs. I was so excited because I love the place! All ingredients are organic and incredibly fresh!
One unique advantage to Raw Bobs is that you can purchase packages and down load their app, Flok to earn points toward a free drink, order and pay ahead of time! I do this all the time. Just get there, register my app and viola!
I have tried many of their crafty and delectable juice/smoothie combinations.
One that I have returned many time for - is
the "Red Hot Mama"
Red Hot mama is a tingling delight that explode in my taste buds as soon as I take a sip. It is a perfect mix of sweet and tart with a slightly "hot" mix of Beet- pineapple, red pepper, grapes, turmeric and cayenne. I like to say ~ I have a tango dance going on in my mouth ;)
All of these ingredients are super foods rich in nutrients, anti inflammatory properties and loaded with antioxidants. Everything we need to keep our body functioning healthy in a delicious way! What's not to love.
I very highly recommend Raw Bobs as a regular customer and would advise all of you to check it out at least once. Hope you all enjoyed this review and leave a comment below if you've been to Raw Bobs or any other places you would like me to review:)
À bientôt!(See you soon)
Hey everybody! Welcome to my reviews page and my very first review.
I've had some experience with reviews in the school paper and I thought that I would take my love of restaurants (and eating!) and put it to some use. The place I'm reviewing today is called The Shop.
Located on 460 Wickenden Street in Providence, RI The Shop is a small, hole in the all coffee shop that offers coffee, baked goods, and a few food items. The first impression that it gives is a very chic, understated vibe. One that makes you want to grab a cup of coffee, sit on the bench and read a book all day.
When you go inside you're greeted with a funky design with accents of wood, wallpaper, and the strong scent of brewed coffee.
Owners, John Paul and Diana Murton show their love for organic and fresh food through their website http://www.theshopfoxpoint.com/ with their promise of local vendors, grass-fed dairy, and homemade pastries.
The moment you walk in to the moment you leave you're greeted with impeccable service and a smile with every interaction you have with the staff. I was extremely curious on the matter of what exactly durum bread was and the barista was extremely helpful. He even went to the lengths of pulling out the bread and showing me how it was made.
I ended up ordering the avocado toast on multigrain and chickpea toast on durum.
The avocado toast surprised me at first due to it's unorthodox appearance. While I appreciated the attempt at originality there is something to be said about the convenience of the meal. When I'm out with my friends I don't really want to be assembling the meal for myself. However, the avocado was perfectly ripe and fresh and the multigrain was beautifully baked with an earthy rich flavor.
The chickpea and hummus salad on the other hand was easy enough to assemble, albeit a little more difficult to eat due to the crunchy texture of the durum bread. However, it was nicely seasoned and creamy with just a little too much arugula for my taste. The slight bitterness and peppery flavor of arugula tends to overwhelm the dish somewhat.
All in all, an extremely nice place to have a small lunch with friends or a great place to grab some coffee, sit down, do some work and read a book. Very highly recommended and I would definitely go there again.
See you soon!
